UltraClave
Microwave Autoclave for High-Pressure, High-Throughput Sample Preparation

Sequence of Operation

The patented UltraClave achieves extraordinary performance capabilities by combining direct microwave heating in a high-pressure reactor which acts simultaneously as microwave cavity and reaction vessel.

The UltraClave Unique Operating Sequence

  1. The rack with individual reaction containers is secured on the reactor cover.
  2. The reactor body is lifted to dock with the cover, sealed and secured in place by side clamps.
  3. The reactor is pressurized with inert gas.
  4. A microwave program (controlling time-temperature-pressure-power) is selected and started.
  5. At the completion of the reaction, pressure is gradually released.
  6. The reactor body is lowered. Processed samples can be removed.
