Continuous Flow Scale-Up
The new FlowSYNTH system is a continuous flow microwave reactor that represents the link between laboratory-scale reactions and industrial-scale production.
This revolutionary system allows chemists to scale-up reactions from grams to kilograms.
Once the chemistry has been optimized with the MicroSYNTHplus or with the BatchSYNTH, it can be easily transferred to the FlowSYNTH, which uses a flow-through reaction scheme with full control of all reaction parameters.
Easy scale-up from grams to kilograms
Purity of reaction products. Fast heating and cooling minimize reaction by-products.
Capability to fulfill large productivity needs. Flow rate adjustable from 12 to 100 ml/minute.
Ease of use
Advanced temperature and pressure control. Run reactions at temperatures up to 200°C, and pressures up to 30 bar.
Full compatibility with MicroSYNTHplus platform. Reactions optimized in MicroSYNTHplus can be easily adapted to run in the FlowSYNTH.
Inherent safety. Only relatively small quantities of reactants are moving through the continuous flow reactor, thus avoiding any risk associatd with the handling of very large volumes.
