Automatic Temperature Control
The ATC-400FO Automatic Fiber Optic Temperature Control system allows continuous monitoring and control (± 1°C) of internal temperature within a standard Milestone reference vessel.
The maximum operating temperature of the ATC-400FO is 300°C, and the probe is designed for easy and rapid insertion and removal.
Infrared Temperature Control
The IRTC-500 is a focused, high sensitivity IR sensor for contactless temperature monitoring of all sample vessels. This feature is used to monitor the vessel and rotor surface temperature, protecting these components from over heating during aggressive digestions. Limits can set through the control software. The side-mounted design prevents damage from accidental acid spills inside of the cavity.
QPS-3000 Solvent Sensor
The QPS-3000 actively monitors and responds to vapors inside the cavity. This patented technology responds to the concentration of solvent vapors inside the cavity and reduces the applied microwave power until the vapors have been cleared from the cavity by the exhaust module. Once the vapor are cleared from the cavity, normal power is again applied and the reaction process continues. By adjusting the response sensitivity of the QP Solvent Sensor, the sensor can be set to respond to: 1) vapors escaping from improperly closed vessels, 2) vapors escaping from vessels that have vented and resealed from an over pressure inside the vessel, or 3) vapors diffusing, under heat and pressure, through the micropores in the fluropolymer sample vessels.
Adjusting the response sensitivity of the QP Solvent Sensor provides optimum operator safety and, in cases where diffusion through the vessel wall is a possibility, it can serve to limit the internal pressure of multiple vessels, simultaneously, without direct contact.
